How to use bloggers to spread your online sales

You’ve got a great service or product, and you want to get the word out. A targeted blogger outreach campaign could be just what you need to grow your audience. You might feel a little lonely online, so why not make some virtual friends who can champion your brand. If you’re starting out, or an established brand, there are lots of ways of getting people to talk about you.

Write for other blogs

Are you an expert in your field? Do you have a burning need to tell the world? Advertising costs money, but a guest blog post can mean that, for some of your time, you are able to use somebody else’s website to tell your story. You can do some research on websites that are interested in your specialism and pitch some ideas. Your brand gets the attention and a link back to your website. It’s important to make your content as accessible as possible.

Offer products for review

Getting a review on a popular website is a great way to get people interested in your brand and start some chatter about what you do. Find websites that are keen to connect with what you do and offer them something that entices them to write about you. If you’re proud of your product and know it’s great, get them to tell the world.

Get included in gift guides.

If you’re selling a product for the sunny months, or best bought over the festive period, there are always websites keen to write about recommendations. It's not luck to be included in these guides though. You need to reach out to bloggers and editors to ensure that they see why you need to be included.

There are lots of different ways to get yourself noticed online and lots of different techniques to reach out to new people. Think about getting the right people to talk to you. We can help.
